You can run, but you can't hide

Okay, so the two things I wasn't going to miss about Wildwood were 1) the retreat 2) Humanities finals. Well, earlier in this semester I committed to an RUF retreat, so that lovely escape went out the window. Yesterday and today I've had not one, but TWO humanities finals.
Yesterday I sat down for two hours of franticly-written essay questions on the Ancient World. Today I'm going to have to do the same for Western Civ. Why did I pick so many honors courses (rolls eyes?)

But in a few short hours I'll be through with my first semester of college! Hmm, and back to sloooow internet connection at home.

I stumbled across your blog through Mr Eubank's book-review blog, and........ oh my! I have never laughed harder on the internet in any of my rememberable life. You have successfully provided me with over an hour of hilarious procrastination as I read through page after page. Have you thought of writing a novel? Can I please be your editor? I giggled and guffawed my way through fire alarms and orthodontia adventures, and I laughed until I cried when reading about the skin-stealing professor. Ahhhhh, college. (meanwhile, my Midsummer Night's Dream script is just crying for some blocking, but I am steadfastly ignoring it in favor of, um, encouraging my fellow writer. Yes, that's it.) :) Thank you for an afternoon of possibly misspent and definitely enjoyed blog-reading. May you continue to delight the masses with your wittiness and humor. I'm a new faithful reader :)

You're making me blush! I have to admit that your praise makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside (grin). I think all the time about writing a novel, although not about me. My memory for events is beyond horrible (although I can memorize a three page poem with ease) and I have never been successful at keeping a journal. So I'm really enjoying blogging--I like all the interacting and, of course, the chance to make other people listen to me. Besides, life is too quirky to pass up a chance to laugh about it.
Love,
Lee Anne
PS Just wait till I get time to post about my recent adventures in retail!

I'm coming back for Shakespeare In A Week, of course! You you really think I'd miss that?

(dramatically) At least someone appreciates my many talents! Hmm, Miss Master-Seamstess has a nice ring to it. . .lol, don't make me cocky.

Yes, I already have plenty of homework, most of which is done online. I've spent the last two hours setting up my Econ account and working throught the hundreds of orientation and pratice problems required (crash course in lines, charts, graphs, fractions [hah!] and how to use the program)
Well, I'll stop tying here cuz I'm trying to get around to a new post. . .
